i just blocked like twelve different people for acting dense but i don’t think yall understand that the problem is nonblacks constantly take and misuse slang and terms coined by black people and then demonize black people for using their own shit, my point is that i have seen countless post, videos, tweets, etc barking at megan for upholding some kind of “beauty standard” and “making” people hate their bodies bc of hearing the words “hot girl summer” meanwhile they are all nonblack people who never even bothered to understand what it actually means, and that it was about self love and joy the whole time, yall constantly attack black people and specifically black women for getting into things that weren’t made for you in the first place THATS why it’s a problem

Close England’s Nurseries

On Monday, Boris Johnson announced another ‘full’ UK lockdown. Schools, collages and universities are all closed until at least the end of February. However, in England, nurseries and preschools are remaining open. Even if I didn’t work in a preschool, I’d think this was wrong.

In schools, some social distancing is possible but it completely impossible in nurseries. The children as too young; they need hugs, they need help with coats, opening lunchboxes and toilet training etc. All nurseries are potential supper spreader environments that put both children and staff at risk.

There is a petition here to close all nurseries and early years settings during lockdown. I’ve signed it. If you live in the UK please sign it too. If you live elsewhere, please reblog this post and spared it.

oh hey new guide thinggg~ some basics on how to practice! there’s SO much I could add to this, so it’s just the basics :O

short (kind of): there’s more to practice than doing something repeatedly, it’s also learning new things, problem solving, and honest critique. Each of those is its own skill…also be nice to yourself!
